In our first 15-minute phone consultation, we start by learning about your goals, priorities, and any unique considerations or challenges for your project. This first conversation helps us understand your vision and determine the best next steps.

Next, we invite you to our expansive showroom to meet with a decking specialist. Here, you can explore full-size covered and uncovered deck displays, compare materials, discuss design ideas, and get inspiration for your space. This hands-on visit helps you make confident, informed decisions—far beyond what’s possible with a few sample boards brought to your home.

After the showroom appointment, we’ll schedule a site visit and begin the design phase. Using professional CAD software, we may create a detailed 3D rendering to help you visualize your new deck or outdoor space. We refine the design based on your needs and budget, then provide a clear, itemized proposal outlining all aspects of the project.

We treat communication as a part of the craft. Once construction begins, you’ll stay informed through our cloud-based project management system. You’ll receive real-time updates on scheduling, selections, daily progress photos, inspections, and any notes from the crew. For bigger updates or changes, your project manager will communicate with you directly by phone or in person to ensure clarity every step of the way.

Our relationship doesn’t end when construction wraps up. We remain available for questions, support, and long-term guidance, and are easily reached by phone, email, or stopping in our showroom. Better Builders provides a 5–10 year labor warranty and a 25–50 year product warranty, depending on your selections, ensuring your investment is protected for years to come.
