Our Process

Transparency in process is as important to us as it is to you. The following is the process you can expect us to follow on each and every project we take on, no matter how large or small.

  • 1. Initial Contact

    At the time of our first communication with a potential client, we schedule a meeting at the site of the project to discuss the client’s goal for the space. This is also a time for investigation of any potential issues that may occur during the building process to minimize surprises and help the building process run more smoothly.

  • 2. Design and Proposal

    Within 5 days of finalizing design specifics, we provide the client with a proposal that itemizes all materials and labor within the bid. This is also a time for clients to come to our showroom to see samples of our full product line. Our software allows us to provide a computer-aided design that helps the client visualize their space. Adjustments are made, as needed, based on the client’s needs and budget.

  • 3. Build

    From the moment construction begins, our cloud-based project management system allows us to maintain close contact with the client so that they are informed of all progress from the moment we break ground to our final clean-up. This technology provides the client real-time updates on our daily schedule and timeline, access to make selections for your project, and is a space for us to upload progress pictures and notes at the end of each day of construction. Any significant changes, updates, or information will always be provided in-person or by phone from your project manager.

  • 4. On-going support

    Just because the construction is complete, doesn’t mean our job is done! We take great pride in maintaining contact with our clients to provide support for any questions they may have. Better Builders provides a 2-year labor warranty and 25-year product warranty at a minimum on all of our products.
